There are several ways brands can work with The Health Puzzle, depending on what you are looking to achieve and where your brand fits within our editorial approach. The most common routes include:
Editorial reviews and recommendations. Most brands we partner with are offered the opportunity for their product to be tested by our team, with a short review and rating published on our product recommendations directory if it meets our standards. For a smaller number of products each year, we also publish an in-depth review on our blog, where the product warrants deeper coverage for educational, value-based or partnership reasons.
Affiliate partnerships. We work with brands that offer affiliate programmes through platforms such as Awin, Shopify Collabs, Impact and others, alongside direct partnerships.
Discount code partnerships. We feature exclusive and shared discount codes for brands we stand behind, whether based on our own testing or on their established reputation among qualified practitioners. Codes can be listed on our recommended deals page, in a dedicated recommendation article, within relevant blog content, in our monthly newsletter and across our private communities. These can be tailored to suit how you prefer to work.
Sponsored content. Where appropriate, we publish sponsored articles or features that are clearly labelled and editorially aligned with our values.
Gifted products. We accept gifted samples for editorial consideration, with no guarantee of coverage and only where the product fits our criteria.
The Health Puzzle Awards. Eligible products listed in our directory are automatically considered for our annual awards.
Every partnership begins with a conversation. To explore working together, please email partnerships@thehealthpuzzle.co.uk.
We work with brands that share our commitment to natural health, ingredient transparency and editorial integrity. Our partner brands span the full range of categories featured in our product recommendations directory, from personal care and food and drink to household cleaning and water purification. Our editorial standards are tailored to each category, in general, the signals we look for include:
Clean, considered ingredients or materials, free from excipients, fillers and unnecessary additives
Plastic-free packaging or thoughtful, sustainable alternatives
Third-party testing where relevant to the category
Transparency about how and where products are made
Genuine consideration of sustainability, ethics and brand impact
Fit with one or more of our ten lifestyle medicine pillars
Not every signal applies to every category. A book is assessed differently from a supplement, but in all cases we are looking for brands that have taken a genuine and considered approach.
We work with brands of all sizes, from independent founders to large established names. Editorial fit matters more to us than scale. Where a product or brand does not meet our standards, we will let you know honestly so you can focus your time where it has the best chance of landing.
We accept gifted products from brands whose values and editorial fit have been agreed with us in advance. We are unable to return items sent to us without prior arrangement, so we would always recommend reaching out before posting.
Once we have agreed to receive a product, we will spend time testing it properly before forming an editorial view. A gifted product does not guarantee any coverage, and we will only feature a product where it genuinely meets our editorial standards. If it does not, we will let you know honestly.
To discuss sending a product for editorial consideration, please email partnerships@thehealthpuzzle.co.uk.
Four things set us apart, and together they shape every partnership we take on.
A team of qualified practitioners. Every article, review and recommendation on The Health Puzzle is written or curated by qualified nutritional therapists and other natural health professionals. This is not a content site staffed by generalist writers. It means the brands we feature are assessed by people who genuinely understand the science, the ingredients, the standards and the questions a thoughtful reader will ask.
An audience that takes natural health seriously. Our readers are not casual scrollers. They are people actively researching how to support their health, who follow practitioner-led content, sign up to our newsletter, join our communities, and use our directory to find qualified support. When they discover a product through The Health Puzzle, they are doing so because they trust the editorial process behind it, and that trust translates into meaningful engagement with the brands we feature.
A complete ecosystem, not just an article. A partnership with The Health Puzzle is rarely one piece of content. Where appropriate, a brand can be featured across our blog, product recommendations directory, discount codes page, newsletter, communities, and considered for The Health Puzzle Awards. We work with brands over the long term, building visibility across multiple touchpoints rather than relying on a single launch.
An editorial framework built around lifestyle medicine. Our content is organised around ten lifestyle medicine pillars rather than chasing trends or topic-of-the-week thinking. This means a brand featured on The Health Puzzle is placed within a coherent philosophy that practitioners, healthcare professionals and serious readers recognise as credible.
To explore working together, please email partnerships@thehealthpuzzle.co.uk.
Product reviews are carried out by our editorial team, led by qualified nutritional therapists Josie Shillabeer, Chandy Rodgers and Helen Morton, alongside other qualified practitioners and contributors who bring relevant expertise to specific categories. Our reviews are not based on desk research alone, and we do not pass products to junior reviewers without the relevant background.
This is one of the reasons our review timelines vary. Some products are quick to assess; others take weeks or months of use before we feel ready to share our view honestly.
A partnership with The Health Puzzle is built around long-term editorial presence rather than a one-off feature. Depending on the partnership, brands can expect a combination of:
Editorial coverage. A short review with rating on our product recommendations directory, and where the product warrants it, an in-depth review on our blog.
Visibility across our channels. Coverage in our monthly newsletter, social media, the UK Wellness Hub Facebook group and the UK Wellness Hub LinkedIn community.
Discount code distribution. Exclusive or shared codes published across our recommended deals page, in dedicated recommendation articles, within relevant blog content, in our monthly newsletter and across our private communities.
Awards eligibility. Tested products listed in our directory are automatically considered for The Health Puzzle Awards each year.
A trusted editorial endorsement. A feature on The Health Puzzle is a meaningful credibility signal that brands can draw on in their own marketing, retailer conversations, press and investor materials.
A long-term partnership. We work with brands over months and years rather than running one-off campaigns, which means coverage builds rather than fades.
To explore what a partnership could look like for your brand, please email partnerships@thehealthpuzzle.co.uk.
Yes. Alongside our organic editorial reviews and recommendations, we work with selected brands on sponsored content where there is a genuine fit with our editorial values and the topics we cover.
Sponsored content can take several forms, including dedicated articles, brand features within wider topic pieces, sponsored deal posts, and newsletter or community features. Every piece is clearly labelled as sponsored, written or edited to meet our editorial standards, and only goes ahead where we genuinely stand behind the product or brand.
To discuss a sponsored content opportunity, please email partnerships@thehealthpuzzle.co.uk.
To explore working with The Health Puzzle, please email partnerships@thehealthpuzzle.co.uk with a short introduction to your brand, the product or service you have in mind, and the kind of partnership you are interested in. We will aim to reply within five working days.
If you are not yet sure what would suit your brand best, that is fine too. A first email outlining what you do and what you are hoping to achieve is enough for us to come back to you with thoughts on the right route forward.
