A health guide to ingredients and materials

There are so many ingredients and materials on the market, some of which are health supportive, while others can be harmful. Stainless Steel 306

YAY

316 stainless steel is the next step up from 304 and the difference comes down to the inclusion of molybdenum. 316 adds around 2-3% molybdenum to the mix, which gives it superior corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and salt.

Stainless Steel 305

YAY

Sometimes called 18/8 stainless steel is primarily made from iron, with around 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It is an ideal material for use within the kitchen. It can be degraded by saltwater or highly acidic compounds. It can withstand fresh water, coffee, tea and juice.
