A running sock knitted from 55% merino wool with recycled nylon and a touch of elastane. Built to give the natural-fibre benefits of wool while still surviving a normal machine wash without shrinking. Merino is the clever part: it wicks sweat so feet stay dry, regulates temperature, and naturally resists odour, and the targeted cushioning sits where it counts underfoot. I find them thick enough for winter, yet breathable enough that my feet don’t overheat playing tennis in the summer. The ankle height clears my shoes without rubbing while still working with shorts. A genuine middle-ground choice: not an all-natural sock, but a hard-wearing, low-maintenance one for anyone who wants mostly natural fibres without the faff of hand washing.
