About Me

My mission is to help adults improve their quality of life and health through sleep and lifestyle interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Combining an Occupational Therapy perspective with Health Coaching and Lifestyle Medicine, I support meaningful lifestyle changes that promote health and wellbeing. Lifestyle interventions are highly effective in managing and preventing chronic conditions like high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and coronary heart disease. Yet, they are often undervalued in favour of medications, leaving many without the guidance needed to implement lasting change - this is where I can help.

Sleep is fundamental to health, wellbeing, and daily functioning. It improves mood, cognition, and physical performance while lowering the risk of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and dementia. As someone who has faced sleep challenges, I understand their profound impact. CBT-I is a non-medication, first-line treatment for insomnia that focuses on resetting the body clock, increasing sleep drive, and addressing factors that disrupt sleep. My holistic approach connects daily habits, sleep, and overall health, and I strongly advocate for the restorative power of nature in supporting the circadian rhythm, improving sleep, and enhancing wellbeing.
