What is mindful eating?

Mindful eating is about being fully present, or paying attention, when you eat.



There is lots of talk about mindfulness which, simply put, is ‘the practice of being fully present and aware, without judgment’. Eating mindfully is one aspect of mindfulness that not only helps you enjoy your food but can help optimise digestion, support weight loss, and promote overall health.

What is mindful eating?


Mindful eating is about being fully present, or paying attention, when you eat. It is about slowing down, focusing on your food and savouring every bite. It means making thoughtful choices about what you eat whether it is a healthy salad or a piece of chocolate cake.
